True Originals

In honor of my Granny's birthday, I'm posting photos of two of her paintings. I was so lucky to have her as my "Granny" and am so thankful for the beautiful paintings that she created. So, here are two Mildred Colvin originals that I dearly love! I think these two little kiddos deserve some names - I just can't decide what suits them the best. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think they should be called!

Just enough sunshine...

The last few days here have brought with them just enough sunshine to lead to a full-blown case of spring fever in our house. Doll and I came home the other day and headed outside with the sidewalk chalk. Jackets are still needed and I'm sure another cold snap is on its way, but... let's just not talk about that, okay?
